- We were impressed by this cutting-edge Live2D work created with the latest version of Live2D Cubism Editor.
In addition to the excellent expressiveness, we were attracted to the wide range of functions that were used to bring the expressions to life.
Other exceptional points that make the model so appealing include the various elements such as the expression changes using Blend Shape, the rendering of light using Multiply Color and Screen Color, and the putting on and taking off of the hood—an expression that is considered highly difficult.

- One advantage of directly animating an original illustration is the ability to maintain the work’s inherent presence of space.
This work represents a crystallization of the appeal of Live2D, which can create animation while retaining the quality of the original illustration.
The love of the creator for the characters really comes through in the illustration details that produce a feeling of warmth, the fine changes in the expressions of the characters, and how each element is carefully brought together.

Although there has always been a lot of content that allows communication with characters, the addition of the richly expandable interface of Live2D makes it possible to see just how far creators can take their dreams of the kinds of characters they want to interact with.

The XY movement of the face and the processing of the jaw lines are very natural, and we were impressed at how the appeal of the model comes through so clearly even though the video is short.

- While there have been many works in the past that have used Live2D to animate an analog illustration, this was the first work we have seen where an analog illustration was created by dividing the illustration into parts.
This work gives us great hope for further advancements in the combination of analog illustrations and Live2D.

- There are many Live2D models that can be customized, but with this model, we could feel the great underlying ambition through its extremely large number (58) of customizable parameters and the large changes in appearance resulting from the prepared customization elements.

Live2D CREATIVE AWARDS?
The Live2D Creative Awards are an annual contest where participants compete based on the quality of original works created using Live2D.
Started in 2014, this contest has been the starting point for a large number of Live2D pros.
Works from any genre can be submitted, including video, animated illustrations, games, and characters/avatars so long as they were made using Live2D.
We look forward to seeing the works that all of you have poured your hearts and strength into.
