Theme:
Imagination transcends dimensions

The theme for the Live2D Creative Awards 2023 is “Imagination transcends dimensions.”

This theme encourages creators to go beyond conventional boundaries and expand their imagination, opening the door to uncharted waters beyond.
Every year, the Live2D Creative Awards attracts creators from across the globe, transcending both national and linguistic boundaries to bring together a diverse array of creative works that are not bound by dimensions or structure.
Rapid technological developments in recent years have encouraged a lively discussion of the relationship between creators as well as freelance commercial activities and personal activities and promotion.
At Live2D, our goal is to use the Live2D Creative Awards to support and inspire ambitious individuals to succeed as creators in their own right.

We hope that everyone will take up the challenge of this year’s theme and harness their true potential to create unique works with Live2D.
We look forward to seeing what each of you can do!

WHAT ARE THE
Live2D CREATIVE AWARDS?

The Live2D Creative Awards are an annual contest where participants compete based on the quality of original works created using Live2D.

Started in 2014, this contest has been the starting point for a large number of Live2D pros.

Works from any genre can be submitted, including video, animated illustrations, games, and characters/avatars so long as they were made using Live2D.

We look forward to seeing the works that all of you have poured your hearts and strength into.

How to enter

Enter by uploading an original work to YouTube, Twitter, Bilibili, or Weibo, and completing the necessary items on the entry form.

Entry requirements

Works must be no longer than 5 minutes.
Entered works must be available to view on the Internet from the date of entry until the end of January 2024.
The designated hashtag (or tag) “#Live2DCreativeAwards_2023” must be added when submitting a work.

Eligibility for entry: Both amateurs and professionals are welcome.
Creators of all ages, nationalities, and professions are welcome.
Group entries are permitted.
Corporations may not participate.
Multiple entries are welcome.

Standards for judging: Does the work communicate the characteristic and potential of Live2D or 2D works?
Is the quality of the Live2D animation at a high level?

Notes

If the entrant is a minor, the consent of a parent or guardian must be obtained before entering the contest. If there is an entry from a minor, it will be considered that the consent of a parent or guardian has been obtained.

Entrants must not submit entries to which any of the following applies. In the event that the organizer determines that any of the following applies to an entry, the organizer shall be permitted to invalidate the entry, cancel the award, or take other action without providing any notice to the entrant.

The work infringes on or may infringe on the copyright or other rights of a third party.
The work is or may be defamatory towards a third party, or infringes or may infringe on the privacy of a third party.
The work is or may be pornographic, discriminatory, violent, or otherwise contrary to public order and decency.
The work violates or may violate laws or other ordinances.
The work interferes or may interfere with operation of the contest.
The work is deemed inappropriate by the contest organizer for other reasons.
